6. RCLaser Clubs

Blackpool and Fylde Model Boat Club
There is a special page for the B&F Club, click the link, details are slowly being filled in
The sailing is usually towards the Blackpool end of the Lake.
As you drive along the promenade from the White Church at Fairhaven, towards the west end of the lake you will see a small black and white tennis pavilion by the lakeside. The sailing area is in front of this pavilion  You can park on the promenade, and there is a path to the lake from here, opposite Cypress Avenue. If needed there is a rather expensive car park at the West end of the lake, but the parking on the promenade is free, although check that this is still correct, as the Traffic Wardens work on a Sunday, bless them!
Permanent buoys are now in place.
There is a cafe within 150yds of the sailing area (metres to you young folk) where there are also toilets.

The lake does not have a weed problem, and has a carpark directly alongside.
The water has a hard edge, with a grass area for boat preparation
The skippers at Aye are keen and the National TT held in March 2011 was very well organised.
The hold Club races on Thursday afternoons and Sunday mornings till late lunchtime.
A very much recomended venue
