  Did you spot the difference?
The boom slide loop needs to pull aginst the spring - as in the right hand image.
 This shows the fittings on the c rig
The 2012 rules have removed the need for a particular placement for the boom slides.
The A and B rigs will have the adjuster slide placed between the mainsheet take-off and the outhaul slide; the C and D rigs will need to have the adjuster slide fitted between the mainsheet take-off and the downhaul slides (or mast if you do not use a downhaul).
